Starting in 2015 as part of my role at AmericanHort I was the marketing and design lead for NLAE one of their managed partner organizations. As part of this I had the lead role in marketing their annual conference. One of the primary drivers of the conference is giving executives a chance to network in person and as such a major selling point was the location of the conference each year which moved to a different host city in North America each year.
Past conferences had utilized a city skyline motif, which for the cities featured had worked well. Starting in 2017 I moved the logo to featuring the feel and culture of the host city with an illustrated logo I made each year utilizing the brand colors of the organization:
